Beery Visual Motor Integration Assessment
The Beery Visual–Motor Integration (Beery VMI) Assessment measures how well a child’s visual perception and motor coordination work together; a critical foundation for writing, drawing, copying, spacing, and overall school performance. During this assessment, students complete a series of structured tasks that evaluate visual-motor integration, visual perception, and fine-motor coordination. Results help identify whether visual-motor difficulties may be affecting handwriting, classroom tasks, or academic confidence. Families receive a scored report with clear explanations and recommendations for next steps or targeted intervention.
